The grapes to produce Entre deux Mers Château Lestrille were harvested at optimum maturity, followed by skin contact and a cold stabilisation. The fermentation for Entre deux Mers Château Lestrille took place in temperature controlled stainless steel vats, followed by maturation in stainless steel, for a period of five months. This wine was vinified with the utmost care, respecting the grape varieties, their aroma and flavour profiles and the wine’s ultimate personality.
The vineyards are cultivated according to “la lutte raisonnée” using sustainable methods and reducing the amount of chemicals used in order to respect the land and its environment. The vineyard soils are predominantly clay and limestone.
At Chateau Lestrille, Estelle Roumage makes modern, fruit-driven wines. They use sustainable winegrowing practices to respect the balance of the soil as they believe the essence of winemaking lies in the vineyard itself. They vinify each plot on their 45-hectare property separately with tailor-made precision. The Château is located at the northern point of the Entre-deux-Mers appellation in the small town of St. Germain du Puch between Libourne and Bordeaux.
