The Öküzgözü grapes, which are pronounced “O-kuz-goez-zu” and the Boğazkere grapes- pronounced “Boaz-ker-a” were fermented separately. The grapes to produce Öküzgözü Boğazkere Buzbağ Rezerv Kayra were cool macerated for 48 hours before being fermented in stainless steel tanks over a period of 10 days. Öküzgözü Boğazkere Buzbağ Rezerv Kayra was aged in oak barrels for 21 months comprising 6% new American oak, 9% new French oak and 85% neutral oak.
