The berries to produce Pinot Noir Viña Edmara were destemmed and partially crushed. The must was cooled immediately after crushing to maintain aromas, flavours and to reduce the level of sulphur dioxide. A cool pre-fermentation maceration lasted for five days, extracting primary flavours and colour. The Pinot Noir Viña Edmara fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, with a gentle extraction to achieve a soft and fruity character in the final wine. After short post-fermentation maceration, the wine had brief oak contact to increase complexity.
The grapes are grown in a mixture of silty soils with more clay towards the coastal range from the Aconcagua region.
